¿Burbujas en tomates enlatados? Así puedes saber si son seguras o señal de descomposición

Al abrir una lata de tomates, a veces aparecen burbujas en el líquido. En muchos casos es normal y se debe a la liberación de gases atrapados durante el proceso de enlatado. Estas burbujas suelen ser pequeñas, desaparecen rápido y no van acompañadas de mal olor ni cambios en el color o la textura.

Sin embargo, si las burbujas continúan, hay espuma, líquido turbio, olor agrio o alcohólico, tomates viscosos o la lata estaba inflada, puede tratarse de fermentación o descomposición causada por microorganismos. En esos casos, el producto no debe consumirse.

Los expertos recomiendan revisar siempre el estado de la lata, oler el contenido y, ante cualquier duda, desecharlo. Cuando se trata de alimentos enlatados, la regla es clara: si algo no se ve o no huele bien, es mejor no arriesgarse.
