AC Milan and Italian football icon Franco Baresi turned 66, sparking a wave of tributes from fans and sports figures worldwide.
Widely regarded as one of the greatest defenders in football history, Baresi spent his entire 20-year professional career with AC Milan, winning three Champions League titles and six Serie A trophies. He also won the World Cup with Italy in 1982.
