Niño de 13 años salva a su familia al nadar 4 km; su madre y hermanos pasaron 10 horas en el mar

Un niño de 13 años, Austin Appelbee, salvó la vida de su madre y de sus dos hermanos menores tras nadar durante unas cuatro horas hasta la costa, luego de que la familia fuera arrastrada mar adentro mientras paseaban en kayaks frente a la costa de Australia Occidental.

Austin abandonó un kayak inflable que se desinflaba y se quitó el chaleco salvavidas para poder nadar mejor. Recorrió cuatro kilómetros en medio de fuertes olas hasta llegar a la orilla y pedir ayuda.Gracias a su valentía, un helicóptero de rescate logró localizar y salvar a su madre y a los dos niños, quienes habían pasado hasta 10 horas a la deriva. La policía elogió el coraje del menor y confirmó que todos se encuentran fuera de peligro.
