El gobierno mexicano confirmó que Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, alias El Mencho, fundador y líder del (CJNG)

El gobierno mexicano confirmó que Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, alias El Mencho, fundador y líder del Cártel Jalisco Nueva Generación (CJNG), fue abatido en un operativo de fuerzas federales en Tapalpa, Jalisco.

Durante la operación, al menos siete presuntos miembros del CJNG murieron, incluyendo a El Mencho, y dos personas más fueron detenidas. Asimismo, se aseguraron armamento pesado y vehículos blindados.


Tras el operativo, la violencia se ha intensificado con bloqueos y enfrentamientos en varios estados, lo que mantiene en alerta a las autoridades de seguridad.
